Knott County Skate Park

The Knott County Skate Park is open year round. The county is proud to have something that our youth can enjoy and use on a regular basis. There is no charge for use of the park at anytime and is open to anyone wanting to skate board and bicycle in a safe and friendly environment. The only requirement for the use of the park is that you follow the rules. The park is a safe environment for young kids to hang out and have fun with their friends.

The Rules of the Park are as follows:

SAFTEY IS OUR MAIN PRIORITY - Safety gear must be worn at all times while using the skate park, unless you are only watching others skate.
MAKE SURE OUR PARK IS CLEAN - No one should practice graffiti at any time on public grounds. Trash should also be disposed of in an orderly and fashioned manner. If you see trash on the ground pick it up and place it in one of the waste containers.
BE RESPECTFUL - Everyone at the park has equal rights to have fun and enjoy themselves. Be respectful to those around you and always watch for others when skating or biking.
TAKE TURNS - Sharing is another key factor that is needed to make the park run smoothly and without problems. Take turns riding the many lines that are placed to be skated upon.
